Köyceğiz is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Hayrat, Trabzon Province, Turkey. [1] Its population is 204 (2022). [2] The village is located 3 kilometres (2 mi) north from Hayrat.
History
According to a source dating 1928, the name of the village is Kalanta. Most villagers are ethnically Laz. [3]
