Captain John Henry Watson was an Irish champion polo player.

International Polo Cup in
Newport, Rhode Island in 1876 alongside Captain
Thomas Hone,
Malcolm Orme Little, and Captain the Hon.
Richard Lawley, 4th Baron Wenlock.
