The series is written and directed by Minoru Ashina, with character designs by Minoru Takehara, who also serves as chief animation director. The series is animated by

A second season of the anime series was announced at the ending of Episode 12 and premiered on January 14, 2020.[12] The main staff members returned to reprise their roles.[13] The season includes guest appearances of characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero.[14] Hino, Fukushima, Kobayashi and Yūki perform the second season's opening theme song "Isekai Showtime" (異世界ショータイム, Isekai Shōtaimu), while

A sequel to the anime series was announced at the ending of the second season's final episode.[21] A new anime film has been announced, with the returning staff and cast. The film premiered on June 10, 2022.[22][23] The film's theme song is "Melodic Road Movie" by

A side-scrolling action game, Pixel Game Maker Series Isekai Quartet: Adventure Action Game, has been released for Nintendo Switch and Steam on July 17, 2021.
