Guillamon Island is an uninhabited island south of Scalpay, in the council area of Highland, Scotland. [1] It is 8 acres (3 hectares) in area [3] and 400 yards (350 metres) long in a north-to-south direction. [4] It is entirely greenstone. [5] The name origin is obscure. [6] Guillemon was recorded as being part of the Trap Islands. [7] It was bought for £11,000.[ when?] [3]
