Class of single-celled organisms
Granofilosea is a
class of
cercozoan
protists in the subphylum
Reticulofilosa.
[2] Out of the three groups that were traditionally considered
heliozoans: the
heliomonads,
gymnosphaerids and
desmothoracids, the latter were recently grouped into this new class.
