German film producer
Franz Seitz Jr. (22 October 1921 – 19 January 2006) was a German
film producer,
screenwriter and
film director.
[1] He produced more than 70 films between 1951 and 2006. He was a member of the jury at the
16th Berlin International Film Festival.

His 1982 film
Doctor Faustus was entered into the
13th Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize.
[3] In 1983 he was a member of the jury at the
33rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Success was entered into the
41st Berlin International Film Festival.
[5] In 1997 he won the Berlinale Camera award at the
47th Berlin International Film Festival.
