Football365.com, or simply F365, is a website which is operated by 365 Media Group a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSkyB from its bases in both Leeds and Cape Town.

The website primarily covers the English Premiership, as well as other European leagues and cups. It takes an informal and humorous approach to dealing with the latest football news and often includes running jokes about certain individuals connected with the sport, such as Jermaine Jenas and Frank Lampard. Their mailbox feature regularly publishes e-mails that have distorted views on football. The site was founded in 1997 by journalist Danny Kelly, along with Dan Thompson (founder of computer game company Renegade Software) and Simon Morris, a former Marketing Director of BSkyB.^[1] In 1999, the height of the dot-com bubble, the sites' parent company 365 Corporation floated on the London Stock Exchange, peaking at a value of £500 million shortly after launch. ^[2].

Regular features

F365 Mailbox: A twice-daily collection of the best or most random e-mails sent in by readers on current footballing matters. These 'letters' vary from one-line statements to medium-sized essays. There is often criticism that the mailbox is biased towards featuring 'fans' of the top four clubs in the English Premiership, and also towards Irish contributors. This is because the compiler is Irish and is under instruction to only print emails that incite Liverpool supporters to write in large, paranoid numbers.
F365 Forum: As with any other forum, open debate is encouraged, and discussion of recent court cases always raises a laugh :uhoh: No criticism of F365 will be posted, however polite. Praise is allowed. There are many characters on the Forum. Over the years the legendary status of forummers like Parker, Simmo, Skip, IRD, Jude, Marbles, Quimcey, Mingeford, bfresh, have been widely documented. You wouldn't want to be sat next to one of these people in the pub though.
Mediawatch: A satirical daily review of recent stories and articles from various national newspapers and football websites. Features of Mediawatch include 'Quote of the day', 'Headline of the day' and 'Non-football story of the day'.
F365 Features: Features on current or former football clubs or individuals, such as players, managers and TV pundits; reviews of individual football matches or competitions.
F365 Opinion: Writers and contributors to the website give their opinions on recent footballing news or events, including Sky Sports pundit Andy Gray and John Nicholson.

Internet TV channel

The website also has an internet TV channel, F365 TV. Among the programmes broadcast are The Paper Round (an irreverent look at the tabloids), and Over The Line which takes an ironic look at the week's sport. Presenters include Dom Crofts, Ed Draper, Kait Borsay, Jennie Gow and Lynsey Hooper.
