Flindt Landing railway station is railway station located in Unorganized Thunder Bay District in northwestern Ontario, Canada. [1] [2] [3] The station is on the Allanwater subdivision of the Canadian National Railway transcontinental main line between Savant Lake to the west and Harvey to the east; [3] it is used by Via Rail and is served by transcontinental Canadian trains. [2] The next adjacent stops are Savant Lake station to the west and Allanwater Bridge station to the east. [4]
The station is located at an elevation of 414 metres (1,358 ft) [3] at a point where the CNR line crosses an embankment over Heathcote Lake, part of the Flindt River system, and is surrounded by Wabakimi Provincial Park. [3]
