The Fishers Event Center will be the largest mid-size event center in the region, capable of accommodating audiences of up to 7,500 individuals. From thrilling basketball games to electrifying concerts, this ultra-modern venue promises to bring a world of entertainment right to our city's doorstep. What's more, it will serve as a community hub, providing a platform for local athletes to shine and our youth to walk across the graduation stage.
Fishers Event Center will be home to three professional sports teams: the Indy Fuel Hockey Club of the East Coast Hockey League, Indy Ignite of the Professional Volleyball Federation, and Fishers Freight of the Indoor Football League.
Jim Hallett, Indy Fuel's owner, and the city are currently in search of a naming rights partner for the venue. The revenue from the agreement will be split 80 percent to the city and 20 percent to the Fuel. [6]
The arena will serve as the home of the Indy Fuel, a minor league hockey team in the ECHL as well as the Fishers Freight of the Indoor Football League set to begin play in 2025. [7] [8]
Fishers Event Center will host concerts, shows, graduations, and other community events. The arena is part of a $650 million facility that includes apartments, office space, a hotel, a restaurant, and retail space. [5]
