Xavier University, New Orleans. The university's former gymnasium known as "The Barn" is in the foreground. The gymnasium stood on the Xavier campus from 1937 until 2013. The multi-story building in the distance is the Xavier University of Louisiana Library. The photographer worked on the fifth floor of the library building for almost a quarter of his life. |
