Summary

Description
English: Windpump, Elvington Brickyard Built around 1879 to dewater the brickyard claypits and restored in 1968. Now looking a little unloved and full of extraneous items. There is a similar, but less complete, example near Howden. I looked for this in about 1995 and failed to find it, but did find a derelict windmill stump and chimney several miles away.
