Leopoldstadt. Das Palais wurde ursprünglich Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts als Gartenpalais durch
Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach für den Ratsherrn Zacharias Leeb errichtet. 1897 wurde das Palais aufgestockt sowie vergrößert und von
Erzherzog Otto mit Gattin Maria Josefa und den Söhnen Max und Karl (ab 1916
Kaiser Karl I.) bewohnt. 1948 bezogen die
Wiener Sängerknaben das nach Kriegsschäden wiederinstandgesetzte Palais als neues Heim.
