| Description |
The new upper entrance to the renovated and remodeled station of the mountain railway Rheineck - Walzenhausen. In my mind, there is one blemish and should be altered: The ugly sheet as a railing that impairs the view on the railcar. An architectural gaffe. Normally I don't judge things in my photos and stay neutral, but that must be said. The former sign RhW was replaced by AB, because the railcar is now part of the Appenzell Railways network. Switzerland, Jan 15, 2016. Feb 18, 2016: The criticized metal sheet as lateral safety barrier was replaced by a wire-netting fence. |
