العربية: السير جيكوب فوزا من شرطة جزر سليمان البريطانية، كما ظهر لأول مرة لمشاة البحرية الأمريكية في غوادالكانال، أغسطس 1942. أسره اليابانيين، وتعرض للتعذيب والطعن بالحراب مرارًا وتكرارًا، لكنه رفض إفشاء أي معلومات. على الرغم من إصاباته الخطيرة، هرب ونجا ليس فقط لتسيير العديد من الدوريات ولكن لتلقي الأوسمة الأمريكية والبريطانية.

SGTMAJ VOUSA, British Solomon Islands Constabulary, as he first appeared to U.S. Marines on Guadalcanal, August, 1942. Vouza was captured by the Japanese, tortured and repeatedly bayonetted, but refused to divulge information.
