English: Public Transport Victoria 5'3" gauge 'VLocity' Class 3-car dmu No.VL08 (with DMD 1208 leading) at Melbourne (Flinders Street) with a sister unit on a Gippsland service, 2 April 2016. An evolution of NSWR's Endeavour/Xplorer design, Bombardier (Dandenog) built 75 sets in 2004-16: 40 2-car sets and 35 3-car sets although all of the former have been strengthened to 3-car sets. The bogies were built at Derby UK and are convertible to standard gauge. |
