English: Panorama of the early 20th-century smelter at
Jerome in the U.S. state of Arizona. The smelter was part of the infrastructure associated with the United Verde copper mine. It was replaced by a smelter in Clarkdale, Arizona, when the mine was converted to an open-pit operation in about 1915.
