English: SAN DIEGO (Nov. 12, 2011) Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of civil rights activist Medgar Evers, delivers remarks during the christening ceremony for the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) at the General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company. Medgar Evers is the 13th of the 14 planned Lewis and Clarke-class ships that provide food, fuel, cargo and other services to ships throughout the fleet.
