Summary

Description
English: Thurston lava tube in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park is the only one in the park open for visitors and is one of the most popular attractions. This one was lit with 4 separate flashes rather than using the park's lighting and shows the true colors of the cave. A couple features visible in this are a long contraction crack (on the right) from when the lava cooled, and a flow line about two feet up from the floor, denoting the level of the last flow through the cave.
