Summary

Description
English: St. Francis Dam in San Francisquito Canyon near Saugus was completed in 1926 and failed in 1928. It was part of the Owens Valley Aqueduct System. This post-failure photograph shows a view of the only remaining standing section and portions of the collapsed dam which had been part the eastern side .
