English: This is a typical salvadroean dish. A hearty soup made from cow’s feet, tripe, yuca (manioc root), guisayotes (chayotes), elotes (sweet corn), platanos (bananas), and ejotes (string beans). It may be seasoned with hojas de alcapate (Mexican coriander leaves) and flavored to taste with limón (lemon) or chile.
