Summary

Description
English: Shoebury Boom 2 Originally used as a submarine net in WW2, the Boom was re-inforced with concrete during the Cold War. It runs a mile 3/4 out to sea. If you a nutter like me you can walk out next to it at low tide for as far as you dare. Please see my other pictures of this structure on Geograph, and more of this boom on my webpage, thanks.
