NASA states that the person on the back row second from the left would be
Charles D. Walker, but this is incorrect. It is an earlier crew configuration that included
Patrick Baudry, as can be seen by the CNES logo on the suit of that person; the mission patch worn by all crew members in the photo also has "Challenger" on it instead of "Discovery", the latter of which was the orbiter flown for the STS-51-D mission. An update is available here:
