Description
English: Engagement of the American Brig Oneida and British Corvette Royal George in Kingston Harbour, Upper Canada. Incident occured Nov. 10, 1812. A historical reconstruction based on written descriptions of the event. The work was likely commissioned by Canada Steamship Lines. Coverdale no. 487. One of a series of 15 marine watercolours relating to the American Revolution and the War of 1812.
