Summary

Marker designating the w:Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, California, commemorating women (and men) who worked to construct Liberty and Victory ships during World War II. This image incorporates the 1943 " w:We Can Do It!" poster which was not famous nor was it connected to Rosie the Riveter during the war—it was rediscovered in 1982 and subsequently associated with feminism and the home front, including Rosie the Riveter.
