English: Robert Sanderson McCormick (1849–1919) was a United States diplomat. Born in rural Virginia, his family became influential in Chicago. He served as secretary to Robert Todd Lincoln in London, then Ambassador to Austria-Hungary, Russia, and France.
His son published the Chicago Tribune newspaper.
