Summary

Description The Richardson Building, now known as Richardson Place, at 2 Church Street at Pearl Street in Burlington, Vermont was built in 1895 in the Chateau Style as the largest department store in Burlington. In 1986 the building won the Hertzel N. Pasacrow Award for "significant contribution to the physical or architectural quality of downtown Burlington." It is one of three buildings (along with the Unitarian Church and the Masonic Temple) which make up the Head of Church Historic District. (Source: [1] and informational plaque on the building)
