English: Prairie Dog Creek Bridge in
Harlan County, Nebraska. The bridge is located on County Road H less than half a mile north of the Kansas-Nebraska border. The picture was taken facing northwest (upstream). The
camelback pony truss bridge was built in 1913 by the Monarch Engineering Co. and the Jones & Laughlin Steel Co. It is still in use, though Road P is a minimum-maintenance road. The bridge is listed in the
National Register of Historic Places.
