Deutsch: Otto von Below, Fotografie von Paul Tellgmann, undatiert. [1] Veröffentlicht in den Vereinigten Staaten 1917 vermutl. infolge der Schlacht von Karfreit, laut Bildaufschrift General der Infanterie, die Postkarte wurde also zu Kriegsbeginn nach August 1914 gedruckt; die Aufnahme ist aber älter und zeigt ihn als Generalmajor zwischen März 1909 und März 1912. Dass es sich um ein Vorkriegsbild handelt, ist auch an der Friedensuniform und dem fehlenden Pour-le-mérite erkennbar, den er im Februar 1915 erhielt. Um den Hals trägt er das Komturkreuz des Königlichen Hausordens von Hohenzollern.
