The flag and the image are free to use for Trans and Queer Black, Brown, and Indigenous People of marginalized genders. For commercial use, the author asks that those that intend to sell items with the flag on them, donate at least 50% of the profits to their fund. Alternatively, they can donate directly to TQ-BBI PoC-led organizations, projects, etc.; in this case they must contact them first for permission for the intended donation.
This simple flag image could be re-created using
vector graphics as an
SVG file. This has several advantages; see
Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{
vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “New Pride Flag by Julia Feliz 2018.svg”—then the template
Vector version available (or
Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
New Pride Flag is a call to action for the LGBTQIA+ movement to center the movement’s most marginalized. It was designed by a two spirit Afro-Taino, Julia Feliz and is free to use for non-commercial purposes unless used commercially by QTBIPOC.
