A rare wild Narcissus (uma planta selvagem rara) which grows in a small area near Côja in Portugal next to the river Alva (perto do rio Alva). Sometimes has one, two and occasionally three heads. The whole plant stands about 5 inches (130mm) tall with the visible yellow part about 1 inch (25mm) long. Growing in open space and flowering in February.
Canon EOS 350D with Canon EFS 60mm macro. f/14 1/30second ISO 200. Joby gorillapod (used as a low level tripod with the legs stretched straight out - very handy) and wireless release in overcast daylight with custom whitebalance. It was difficult catching them still as it was fairly windy. Brought the colour levels in slightly and bordered using Gimp/Linux.
If anybody has any more information on which natural hybrid these are I would love to know.
