Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II raided many cattle from Banyarwanda but later gave them permission to settle in Mulenge and Lemera.
Over time and through generations, the family line of Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II has persevered, resulting in Ndare III Simba Kalingishi Adams becoming the current Mwami of Bafuliiru. Holding the position of Mwami entails a great deal of accountability, as it involves representing the customs, principles, and dreams of the Bafuliiru people.
