DescriptionMorning Fog, Bixby Creek Bridge, CAa (11782757526).jpg |
English: (1 in a multiple picture set) CA Hwy 1 is noted as one of the 5 most beautiful drives in America. It is carved into the cliffs that rise from the Pacific, and is breathtaking (and scary at certain points). One of the most (1 in a multiple picture set) places is where it crosses the bridge over Bixby Creek. This picture is taken south of the bridge in the early morning. Crossing Bixby Creek Bridge can cause some to hold their breath. You come upon the bridge by surprise as you round a tight curve, and then you're on it and the bridge itself is curving - far above the beach below. Some day I will let someone else drive so I can enjoy the view. For a closer view of the bridge, see next photo. |
