Salaam Allah took this photo from the Memorial Park Station in Pasadena, California. Memorial Park is to the right and the Holly Street Apartments are directly above the tracks. The station is in a "trench" coming from below grade tunnel underneath Downtown Pasadena. The camera is facing south. North of here, the train goes into another tunnel underneath the eastbound side of the 210 Freeway making its way into the center of the 210 Freeway. As of this picture upload, the train only goes as far as Sierra Madre Villa in Pasadena, California. According to
MTA's web site, future expansions will provide service into the east side of Los Angeles County and possibly into Ontario Airport.
