English: This is a picture from 1915 of the second "Mayo Beach" Lighthouse (built: 1881) in
Wellfleet, Massachusetts. It was taken by the United States Coast guard before the structure was moved to Point Montara, California in 1925. The tower still stands there today as the "
Point Montara Light", while the keeper's residence shown in the photo is now privately owned. |
