English: Martin Seversen (1925–1979) was an American aviator, mechanic and politician. Seversen served for over a decade on the
Bristol Bay Borough assembly when Alaska governor
Jay Hammond appointed him to the
Alaska House of Representatives on an interim basis. The courts had thrown out the election result in this district and ordered a new election in early 1977, which was one by Nels Anderson.
