English: Central Avenue in Marshfield, Wisconsin is lined by many old brick businesses built as early as 1887, immediately after the fire that wiped out the earlier wooden stores. In the background are the two towers of the old city hall. The first few blocks south of the railroad tracks, including the buildings shown here, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Marshfield Central Avenue Historical District.
