English: March 1, 2004 - Senator Lamar Alexander presents President George W. Bush a bust of the president's seventh-generation grandfather, James Weir, who was a soldier in the Battle of King's Mountain during the Revolutionary War Oct. 7, 1780. Alexander's seventh-generation grandfather, John Alexander, also fought in the historic battle. The senator accepted the bust for the president in September during a production of "The Wataugans" by the Overmountain Victory Trail Assocation.
