Creek Street, along (and above) Ketchikan Creek. In the old days, it was the "red light" district of Ketchikan. Prostitution was legal in Alaska until the late 1950s- which happens to be the time Alaska became a state.
The building on the right is Dolly's which is now a local museum. Dolly Arthur was supposed to have been the highest class prostitute in Ketchikan. She moved to the city in 1919. (You probably cannot make it out, but the sign under her name says "Est. 1919." This photo is geotagged.
