Por primera vez, la Fiesta de la República, día nacional en Italia, se abre a todos los madrileños con una celebración que ha arrancado la tarde del 2 de junio y concluirá el domingo 4 de junio. Manuela Carmena, alcaldesa de Madrid, y Stefano Sannino, embajador del país casi vecino, acudieron este viernes al patio central del Conde Duque, reconvertido en una auténtica piazza italiana, para adentrarse en la cultura, la música, la gastronomía y el diseño, uno de los puntos fuertes italianos y que sirve de hilo conductor al programa del fin de semana, y también de nexo entre los diseñadores italianos y madrileños.
