| Description |
English: This is the real-time animation where each frame displayed at 1 fps rate. For this animation of flight 38 of Ingenuity 194 frames acquired by the navigation camera (NAV) of the helicopter were used.
Animation starts from the photo taken at 16:31:26 local mean solar time on January 5, 2023 (sol 649 of the Perseverance rover mission), when its 1 m (3.3ft) above martian surface after departure. Timestamp for the last photo is 16:32:42, when Ingenuity has almost 1 metre (3.3 ft) above the martian surface before landing at Airfield Z after 74.3 seconds of flight. The navigation camera has been programmed to deactivate whenever the rotorcraft is within 1 m (3.3 ft) of the surface.
