DescriptionIce forming on the Tay - geograph.org.uk - 1638366.jpg
English: Ice forming on the Tay In temperatures well below zero ice has formed along each bank of the Tay, with ice floes floating down the central channel. If the low temperatures persist the river could eventually freeze over completely despite the tidal variations in water level. This has happened once before in the past twenty years, although I don't remember which year it was.
