Description

A net constructed by Cheumatopsyche sp. (Family Hydropsychidae) larva. These stream-dwelling caddisfly larvae build retreats with a large, mesh net made of silk to capture particles (including algae, detritis, and small stream- invertebrates) as they move along with the stream current.
