Summary

Description
English: Hetch Hetchy Valley c. 1914 — as it appeared before it was submerged under a reservoir in 1923.
  • Located in Yosemite National Park, California.
  • Although only half as long and wide as Yosemite Valley, Hetch Hetchy bears a strong resemblance to it in general form. It also has similar granite cliff formations, such as one resembling El Capitan on the left, and Kolana Rock on the right.
