Deutsch: Von der historischen Kirche zu unserer lieben Frau und einem Speicherbau lagen noch Mauerreste unter der heutigen Kirche; sie wurden während des Wiederaufbaus nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg untersucht und eingemessen. Aus diesen Befunden lässt sich die Gestalt der ersten Frauenkirche rekonstruieren: Sie war etwas größer angelegt als die damalige Pfarrkirche der Stadt, St. Peter. Dies ist der von Walter Haas für das Diözesanmuseum in Freising rekonstruierte Grundriss des Vorgängerbaues der Frauenkirche in roter Farbe. Der aktuelle Grundriss ist schwarz gefärbt. Die schon vorher vorhandenen Nummern zur Identifizierung einzelner Gebäudeteile wurden am 24. September 2016 in gleicher Anordnung durch größere blaue Ziffern ersetzt:
1 = Hauptportal, 4 = Sixtusportal, 9 = Bennoportal, 13 = Sakramentskapelle, 21 = Donatus- = Brautportal, Arsacius-/ArsatiusPortal
