English: The main colonnaded avenue of the ancient Hellenistic/Roman/Byzantine city of Apamea in northwestern Syria. It was built in the second century CE. The monumental colonnade is among the longest and most famous in the Roman world. Many of the side columns are collapsed as of 2016 due to fighting and looting.
