Summary

Description
English: There is an area in Kansas called the Flint Hills. It gets it's name from the rocks in the ground. It is an area that I have driven through many times. I often think about the Pioneers who crossed this on their way west to Santa Fe, Oregon and California, and think about how hard it must have been. This picture was taken in August, normally, this area would not be so green but more brown from the reduced rainfall.
