As the population grew and interest in musical genres shifted and gained momentum, the ability to make
musical instruments accessible to the masses became increasingly important. Leo Fender recognized the
need for a guitar that was not only comfortable to play, but also easy to build and repair. The now iconic
Fender Telecaster appeared in 1951. it had a simple yet effective design, a revolutionary sound, and, it could
be built using components in an assembly line format. it has appeared in the hands of musicians of
all ages and nationalities, and its sound has transcended generations and defined musical boundaries.
