Description |
Caption from Los Angeles Evening Express: When Angeles Mesa P.T.A. members staged a fashion show of gowns made in the school’s adult dressmaking class, they also ransacked old trunks for some of the gowns of yesteryear. Mrs. Gladys Hershey, extreme left, wore a 25-year-old hand-embroidered gown; little Mary Jane Troetscher wore an outfit designed by her mother in the class, and tiny Marjorie Geyer modeled a complete layette; Mrs. W.R. Ferbrache wore a Watteau model of the gay ‘90s and Mrs. Fred Travis wore a modern gown designed in the school’s dressmaking class. |
