Chile: Escudo Español Terciado en Faja. 1º Faja de Gules, dos Espadas entrelazadas de sable ribeteado de plata recuerdan la Batalla de San Carlos. 2º Azur, 5 menguantes de plata, que son las Armas de don Joaquín del Pino de Rozas y Negrete, Gobernador de Chile y fundador de San Carlos de Itihue. 3º Oro, una torre de plata ribeteada y aclarada de sable, acompañada de 2 lágrimas de gules en la parte superior y 2 paneles de azur en la inferior, elementos heráldicos del Escudo de Chillán, capital de la Provincia de Ñuble, a la cual pertenece San Carlos. El Escudo va timbrado por una Corona en Fuerte de Oro de 8 Torres, de las cuales 4 van a la vista.[1]
