DescriptionErratic rocks of estonian northern coast.jpg
English: Altia peninsula in the northern coast of Estonia. Cristaline rocks piled around the coastline are not from the local bedrock but have been washed out of the glacial deposits carried here from Scandinavia. Diferent rock types vary from ultrabasic to acidic. These igneous and metamorfic rocks exposed here reflect the composition of the bedrock exposed in scandinavia and can be used to derive glacial movement direction in quaternary stages 20000 years ago.
